I am a human and a Charleston, SC native with a family and a “real job.” GriefBusterz is a not-for-profit, community grief-sharing Passion Project created after facing challenging life events complicated by the sudden loss of my brother in March 2023.  I have been working as a nurse since 2015, and I've found my niche in End-of-Life care/education.  I have noticed a major lack of understanding, discussion, and resources in healthCARE; particularly surrounding the concept of deathCARE in the Charleston area.  

Recently, I've struggled finding the right resources for my delayed, complicated grief. Instead of going online to complain or “cancel” someone, I decided to DO SOMETHING.

So…when you’re stuck in a grief tornado and are scared and uncertain, who can you call? Your family? The police? The news??
